The Procurement Center of Excellence Data and Market Specialist is a Global role within the Procurement

Vila-real (Castellón). Spain.

New Position

The Procurement CoE is specialized in fostering best practices, roll-out groupwide initiatives, drive continuous improvement, assume business process ownership to coordinate management of spend across the organization and develop functional knowledge with a clear business performance and value focus.

This role supports the CoE Procurement Excellence Data and Market Specialist in driving key initiatives –helping in bringing a future procurement vision to life. 

• Procurement Performance

-Define, evolve and maintain overall Procurement Performance Dashboard and key OKRs (Objectives and Key Results).

-Reporting to ExCo.

• Procurement Analytics & Insights

-Evolving and maintaining Global and category dashboards and cockpits to enable effective management of spend and decision making (E.g. Sap Analytics Cloud).

-Regularly conducting analytical work to identify potential opportunities to unlock value as well as powerful and impactful visualizations and analysis that can bring in new ways of managing spend.

-Continuously identify new enablers to step-up Procurement practices (Predictive Analytics, AI).

-Supporting sourcing teams in ad-hoc Analytic report.

• Market Intelligence

-Define, evolve and maintain a Market Intelligence approach/capability to support the Procurement function (E.g. commodities price, labor indicators, economic indicators, market trends, market relevant news, etc.).

• Supporting in the execution of Special Procurement Projects, such as;

-Support in the Separation / Integration of newly acquired businesses (Procurement function).

-Conducting Synergy assessments (Procurement upsides from potential acquisitions).

-Driving Cost Optimization Assessments and executing focused optimization efforts

-Any other ad-hoc initiatives.

• With 20-30% travel expected to international sites.
• Valuable MBA / Master in Business Analytics or linked to the procurement area.
• Progressive career track within Procurement at an International Company (ideally with Worldwide operations) +2-4 years
• Experience in sourcing of Indirect categories of spend, preferable in a global setting
• Knowledge / Experience of the Industrial Goods, Chemical, and/or Manufacturing Industries preferable
• Experience in a Procurement practice of top consulting firms highly desirable
• Exposure to managing multiple stakeholders
• Fluent in both Spanish and English
